Accademia Vivaldiana – english

The Vivaldi’s Academy of Venice is an Ensemble formed by musicians who studied and got their Diploma at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory, in Venice, with the Professors : R.Zanettovich, A.Vismara, A.Vendramelli, G.Novello, R.Zanfini. They attended the most important Specialization Courses in Italy as: Music School of Fiesole (Firenze), Chigiana Academy (Siena), Stauffer Academy (Cremona), International Superior Academy of Biella (Vercelli), studying with some of the most famous Virtuosos and Italian teachers : P.Farulli, F.Gulli, F. Petracchi, R.Filippini, S.Accardo, D.Asciolla, G.Garbarino and others.

In their concert activities they have played in the main concert-halls of Europe, U.S.A., Brazil, Japan, playing even as soloists with orchestras and prestigious Ensembles as: Fenice Theatre, Solisti Veneti, Solisti Italiani, Ensemble of Venice, International Orchestra of Italy, Ex Novo Ensemble. They have recorded for Denon, Dynamics, Stradivarius, Tactus, Tring International and Ricordi, ranging over Baroque Repertoire and Contemporary Music. Many of their concerts have been recorded by the main Radio Stations in the world.

The Vivaldi’s Academy of Venice is available to play in different formations from “Trio” to “Camera Orchestra”, even with wind instruments Soloist; the set programmes can include entire baroque monographies (Vivaldi, Corelli, Tartini, Bach) and authors of Classicism, Romanticism and contemporary century.

The purpose of “playing toghether”, meeting and gathering personal experiences in a single Ensemble, also summoning many friends all considered virtuosos by the international criticism, has been the strongest motivation giving birth to this lively and fantasious Ensemble.
